How to make edible Cookie Dough

Making a perfect cookie dough is the key to delicious soft crispy and tasty cookies. Sound strange but there are different types of cookie doughs by method or ingredients.  So, while doing your routine task you feel a craving for sweet delicious and don’t have enough time to bake for this we have edible cookie dough recipes that you can enjoy without baking.

It sounds strange to consume cookie dough without baking but here we are adding healthy ingredients without eggs because it’s strange and unhealthy to eat raw eggs. Ingredients

3 quarter  cup all-purpose flour (scooped and leveled to prevent dough from getting too floury)

Quarter  cup butter, partially melted (melt in the microwave and cool well)

Half  cup sugar

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 tablespoon of milk

Half cup of chocolate chips

Instructions

In a large skillet, over medium heat, cook flour until golden brown. You can also bake the flour in the oven at 375F for 5-7 minutes.

Be sure to stir the flour during the cooking time.

Set the flour aside to cool.

Meanwhile, beat sugar and butter until smooth. Add the milk and vanilla and beat until fluffy.

Add the cooled flour and stir to combine.

Finally, add the chocolate pieces.

Refrigerate the dough for 10 minutes before serving.

If by any chance the dough is too firm or just doesn’t feel right, you can fix this by adding more butter or milk.

1-2 tablespoons of melted butter or milk will suffice. As said, make sure the flour is cold before adding it to the butter, otherwise, you risk having a mess in the bowl, rather than a soft dough.

Edible chocolate chip cookie dough

All-purpose flour (heated to make it safe to eat)

Granulated sugar

dark brown sugar

Unsalted butter

Sea salt

kosher salt

Vanilla

Whole milk

Preparation

  • Start by heating the flour. You can make this in a bowl in the microwave or bake it in the oven. Combine granulated sugar, brown sugar, and butter. Use an electric mixer to beat for about 3 minutes.
  • Then add the salt, vanilla, and milk, continuing to mix. Then mix in the cooled flour.
  • Gently add the chocolate chips and mix well.
  • To make delicious sweets without baking, start by heating the flour in a pan or in the oven whatever suits you. 
  • On the other hand, start mixing the granulated sugar, brown sugar, and butter in an electric mixer or blender for better taste and results.
  • While mixing them add salt, vanilla, and milk, and keep mixing.
  • Now check that the heated flour loses its temperature so add it and mix it again.
  • In the end, add chocolate chips and mix.
  • Pour the mixture into a jar or container and put them in the refrigerator to set and cool well and enjoy.

Edible cream cookie dough

The edible cream cookie dough without baking is just like the ice cream that you want to consume to refresh your mind.

Ingredients 

8 tablespoons unsalted butter (1 stick), 1 cup brown sugar, packed

2 tablespoons of whipping cream

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Half  teaspoon salt

1 cup of flour

Half  cup of chocolate chips

Steps to follow

  • Start with the heating of flour and make it eatable so that it can’t harm you. There are two main ways to heat treat flour to make it safe to eat inedible cookie dough. The easiest method is to microwave the flour on high until it reaches 74°C. Use an instant-read thermometer to make sure everything has reached 74°C, then stir it into your edible cookie dough recipe. as usual. The other method is to heat the flour in a conventional oven. Spread the flour on a rimmed baking sheet and bake in a preheated 300°F oven in 2-minute intervals, checking the temperature after each interval until it reaches 160°F.
  • After heating the flour, place aside to cool.
  • Now it’s time to blend the sugar, butter, and salt. The butter should not be melted or frozen. Take room temperature unsalted butter to beat and beat well with an electric beater until all the sugar dissolves.
  • Now add vanilla and cream and beat again to make a homogenous mass.
  • Now add baked flour and mix well. When the heated floor loses its temperature to room temperature then add it. If you add warm flour, it will become messy.
  • Add dark and white chocolate chips and other chunks that you like to consume.
  • Put it in the refrigerator and enjoy.

How to consume cookie dough

Once you chilled the cookie dough, now make the balls with a large ice cream scoop and consume it with caramel, strawberry, mango, or other fruit sauces. There are many items that are perfect with edible cookie dough like flavored ice cream. You can sprinkle it with your favorite snacks like cakes, custard, different truffles, etc. 

How to store cookie dough

You can make small balls and put them in the refrigerator and they will be good for about 7 days. So, within these 7 days whenever you want to consume them.

Or in case of long-time preservation, you can put them in the freezer and thus they are good for up to 6 months.

Is it safe to eat raw cookie dough?

We consume cookie dough without baking whenever we want to eat sweets and desserts. Consuming cooking dough raw is safe if it prepared in two ways

First, you are skipping raw eggs in your cookie dough because it’s unhealthy.

Second, you heated and cooked the flour. By heating, you killed the harmful bacteria and cooked the flour, which means it is ready to eat.

So you can enjoy it. 

If you bake cookie dough

The flour is cooked by heating and thus we make them with the ingredients that you can consume without baking. The eggs that can’t be eaten raw we skip them here we have the ingredients that you consume raw. And it doesn’t contain any baking ingredients so if you bake them it will not suitable.
